A Streak of Lightning – New Aubrey & Lindsey Story on Patreon!

A brand new short story featuring Aubrey & Lindsey of Mr Warren’s Profession is now on Patre♡n! Wherein Aubrey discovers an alarming development in his wash-stand mirror.

Aubrey had not read the novel by Lord Graves’s playwright acquaintance. He had however heard its details discussed at length over the course of several dinners. He knew that it involved a beautiful youth who had a devilish portrait painted to age in his place, and for every sin the dissipated lad committed, the portrait grew more hideously withered. Aubrey had no such portrait. His own sins could only bear out upon his flesh, and he supposed, with more resignation than bitterness, that given the life he’d led it was more surprising he hadn’t found anything more than a single grey hair ‘til now.

“You already have.”

“Not as I should have.”

“And how is that?” Theo asked with a suspicious squint.

“As a follower rather than a leader.”

Theo’s brow furrowed in confusion. Then his eyes widened, their bachelor-button-blue brightening in the firelight. His lips parted in silent surprise a moment before he found the words he wished to speak. “With me as the gentleman, you mean?”

“I do,” said Leslie—and, with a smile, offered his hand to Theo as a lady ought.

Ch. 8 – Theo – transmasc MM romance on Patreon

Chapter Eight of Theo – a transmasc historical MM romance inspired by Little Women – is up on Patre♡n, wherein our heroes prepare for a ball.

“There!” Myrtle declared. “A perfect little woman!”

Against his better judgment, Theo opened his eyes.

A young woman stood before him. She had a strong jaw, a long nose, sharp cheekbones, full brows, and long lashes. Her chestnut hair had gathered in a pile atop her head, and the neckline of her gown sank very low indeed, leaving nothing in between to hide her slender neck or her shoulders as straight as a soldier’s. Indeed, her gown came down far enough to reveal the top of her bosom, not particularly ample but appearing moreso as her corset forced it up. Her narrow waist kept the fashion, as did her voluminous skirts. No trace of a smile graced her lips, though their curve and color compelled the eye regardless. She had altogether a proud stance, as if the cage of the crinoline could scarce contain her, and she seemed the sort of woman Theo would like to know.

Then her lips parted for breath in time with his own, and with a horrible jolt, he recalled the face he stared into supposedly belonged to him.

As his uncle did not see fit to explain that remark, Malory continued as if he hadn’t heard it.

Chapter Ten of Vampires Vampires Vampires , a M/M/M Victorian vampire romance, is up on Patre♡n! Wherein the baronet has a visitor in the night.

The lonely sleep of a bachelor baronet bereft of bosom companionship did not come easily to Malory. Even more than a year later. Many a night he spent staring up into the darkness waiting for unpleasant dreams to claim him.

As such, on this particular night, the slight scratching sound at his window proved more than enough to rouse him.
